This Sunday, all roads lead to Derryleigh Park, when Newport Town AFC play host to Clonmel Celtic of the Tipperary Southern District League in the fourth round (last 32) of the Munster Junior Cup.
Clonmel Celtic are the current leaders of the South Tipperary Premier league and will provide us with a mighty challenge.
However Newport will be well up for this game as we are currently in solid form, playing good football and are really looking forward to the encounter.
Kick off is at 2pm and we are hoping for a large home crowd in Derryleigh to give Clonmel a real Newport welcome and to get behind the lads.

A big thank you to Santa Claus who took time out of his hectic schedule to visit the boys & girls of NTAFC in the run-up to Christmas.
During his visit he said that he had been told by his elves that the boys & girls had all been very good this year and they were all on the good list.

The soccer club are now selling lines for the annual Christmas raffle.
The fantastic prizes include three large Xmas hampers and a fuel hamper.
Entry to the raffle is €2 per line and can be bought from team managers, committee members, players and are also in local pubs and shops.
The draw takes place in Sullivan’s on Sunday, Dec 21 and everyone is invited to come along to this enjoyable evening.

Thank you to the large crowd of supporters who took part in the club’s annual fund-raising Table Quiz, which took place in Lee’s.
17 teams participated with mixed fortunes. The winning team consisted of Niall Deegan, Alfie O’Brien, Tom Fogarty & Declan Poole. The runners-up were John Keating, Mary Browne, Ann O’Toole & Karen O’Toole.
